YOUNG PHYSICIAN FORUM

Bangladesh Medical Association of North America (BMANA) is a non-profit professional organization representing physicians of Bangladeshi descent residing in North America was founded in 1981. BMANA is growing and consist of over 700-members.

VISIONS

  • The young physicians are the source of strength and future. BMANA becomes a strong platform for the incoming and established young physicians and serves as a platform for all medical students, residents and fellows of Bangladeshi origin.
  • Promote professional solidarity in the pursuit of excellence in patient care, teaching and research.
  • Commitment to community service.

GOALS

Provides assistance to establish a road map for newly immigrant physicians.

Assistance during the residency process and interviews, organize different workshops/seminars throughout the year, provide mentorship-in-person (US clinical experience & research), observer ships, help with temporary job placement.

Assisting new interns/residents to become more efficient during training period and to maintain the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.

Advance their knowledge through CME.

Life after residency or Career development guideline.

We humbly request all the established physicians (whether in academia or private practice) to come forward and help our young physicians.

Each year BMANA arranges an annual professional convention in different cities of the USA. We encourage all members of BMANA and its chapters as well as any non-member Resident Physicians, Post-Doctoral Fellows, and Medical Scientists of Bangladeshi Origin to submit their scientific abstracts for presentation in BMANA Convention.
